Hatsune Miku Masks to Be Sold at Festivals Throughout Japan [News via AnimeNewsNetwork]

Sega announced on Monday that Hatsune Miku masks inspired by the Hatsune Miku Project Diva F game will be sold at festivals throughout Japan this summer. For decades, festivals in Japan have sold masks based on popular children's characters and anime such as Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, One Piece, and Precure.
A special unpainted version of the mask will also be available at Sega's booth at the Wonder Festival 2012 Summer event, which will be held in Chiba's Makuhari Messe convention center on July 29. The colored version of the Vocaloid virtual idol's mask will be sold for 800 yen (about US$10), while the unpainted version will cost (US$6). 
Sega also unveiled its second set of zipper charms inspired by the Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai game. The artists Tama and bun150 designed the series of eight charms, which will be sold in capsule toy machines for 200 yen each (US$2.50). In addition, Sega announced the release of new clear file folders, mugs, and other goods inspired by Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai as well as the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- rhythm game series.
The Hatsune Miku Project Diva F muscial rhythm game will ship in Japan on August 30.
